Permacorr™

Category:
Description:

Permacorr™ is an entirely new approach to preventing rust — a hybrid polymeric phosphate-cementitious coating formulated for corrosion protection of steel structures. Permacorr™ prevents corrosion by simultaneously phosphatizing steel as well as forming a protective polymer/cementitious layer. The iron phosphate passivates the steel surface so it will not rust. The cementitious layer provides a reservoir of phosphate ions that reinforce the iron phosphate layer, should become damaged. The cementitious layer is permeable to water and therefore cannot blister or exhibit creep-corrosion. It is a two pack fast-cure product that requires specialist plural spray equipment for application. See data sheet for details.

Recommended Uses:

Permacorr™ can be used to protect in-situ carbon steel, used in marine, offshore, bridge, petrochemical, structural steel, power distribution and water infrastructure applications. Its unique composition and chemistry make it a product of choice anywhere there is a highly corrosive or salt-laden environment.

Permacorr™ comes as a deep matt finish that turns white on curing. It can be top-coated to give color and cleanability. Ask for details and approved topcoats.
